A synagogue close to where the horrific terror attack occurred was placed under lockdown and surrounded by police and security guards moments after two members of the public were fatally attacked. Private security and Greater Manchester Police community officers were stationed outside Holy Law Shul on Bury Old Road, Prestwich .
The synagogue was put into lockdown after the suspected terror attack just minutes away at the Heaton Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall, where two people were killed, four others injured and the suspect shot dead by armed police.
According to members, they were locked inside the place of worship for a 'couple of hours' before being allowed to leave at their own discretion, but they were told 'not to come back'.
