WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Exploration Place is back with the popular Drone Light Festival, and this time, new features have been added to make the show more interactive.

The Drone Light Festival runs Friday, Oct. 3, to Sunday, Oct. 5, starting at 6 p.m. daily. This year’s show will be choreographed to the music of John Williams.

For the first time since the festival began, the music will be played by live musicians. A string quartet led by former Wichita Symphony Orchestra concertmaster John Harrison will perform songs from Harry Potter, Superman, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Jaws, and E.T.

Another new addition is that guests can visit the drone launch site before the show starts. They’ll get to see the drones laid out in formation and meet the operating crew that creates the show.
