Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott is not happy after being fined by the NFL for wearing a black towel against the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland.
Elliott took to his Instagram story to rip the NFL for the fine, saying they are focused on the wrong things and need to actually fix things that matter to the players.
“Count your (expletive) days … Yall worried about the wrong things. Let’s fix things that actually mean something,” Elliott wrote.
The fine, for $5,979, states the black towel is unapproved by the NFL. In the email, the NFL states the league only approves white towels due to league partnerships, and towels that are used on the field have to be approved by the league.
