TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department said a suspicious device found in a vehicle at a Circle K is under investigation.

On Oct. 2 around 2:30 p.m., a device was investigated after it was found in a vehicle at Circle K near Wetmore Road and Romero Road

The parking lot and an adjacent area were temporarily closed off as a precaution, according to PCSD.

The Pima Regional Bomb Squad was called to the scene and successfully removed the device.

Officials are still determining the nature of the device, which remains under investigation.

The business and parking lot have since reopened.
