There is several new soldiers in the battle against crime here in East Texas. A total of 14 people walked across the stage on Wednesday evening and received their diplomas from the Angelina College Law Enforcement Academy classes that were recently held here in Jasper.

It was the first class in years in law enforcement taught here in Jasper in many years through a program adopted through the Deep East Texas College and Career Academy on the campus of Jasper High School.

Jeffrey B. Bowling, Clayton T. Daigle, Dustin L Haas, Kenneth D. Henson, Kevin D. Hoke, Christie L. Hutchison, Ariana Jimenez, Vern t. Kaylor III, Bradley E. Morgan, Alexis L. Parnell, Charles M. Spain, Morrison A. Tipton, John H. Trammell II, and Hunter R. Walker.

The Valedictorian of the class was Ariana Jimenez
