ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Four people were seriously injured Thursday night in a crash in Allegan County.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Department said the crash occurred just before nine p.m. on 44th Street, North of 116th Ave in Valley Township.
When emergency responders arrived, they found a dark colored Subaru had crashed into a tree.
There were five people in the Subaru. Four of them were brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries while the fifth was released from the scene without any serious injuries.
Police believe the Subaru was traveling northbound on 44th when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree. They also said speed appears to be a factor in what caused the crash.
The sheriff's office is not releasing any names while they continue to investigate.
