CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Rockwell Museum will once again welcome the community to its annual Día de los Muertos celebration, day of the dead, set for Saturday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event, held at both the Kids Rockwell Art Lab and The Rockwell Museum, offers families a chance to explore the Mexican holiday through art, food, and culture. Guests can decorate sugar skulls, create paper flowers and memory boxes, and help build a community by honoring those who have passed.
The celebration will also feature Mexican American folk artists, interactive projects, and tastings of festive foods.
The program is presented in partnership with CareFirstNY and GLOW Traditions, with support from the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning a
