NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- On Monday, a Bronx man was arrested in New Paltz after a traffic stop on the New York State Thruway. According to troopers, Robert Brown, 39, is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

Troopers said around 11 a.m., troopers observed a 2025 Nissan heading north on the Thruway in violation of a state vehicle and traffic law. Upon a stop, the driver, identified as Brown, reportedly had a suspended driver's license and the car he was driving, was flagged as a stolen vehicle.

Following a search, Troopers reportedly found approximately 101 grams of cocaine, 38 grams of MDMA on him and allegedly 2.89 grams of fentanyl in the car.

He was charged with: • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony • Criminal Posse
