A popular shop in Sutton Coldfield has been ‘deliberately’ driven at in what he owner has described as a ‘targeted’ attack.
The Military Chef chocolate shop in the Parade was driven into by the driver of a red Volkswagen Polo at around 6am on Friday (October 3).
The shop, which is at the South Mall entrance to the inner Gracechurch Centre, was rammed causing damage to its main window and door, shattering glass and dislodging the frames.
Owner, Liam Hall posted on Facebook to say: “Unfortunately we were targeted this morning. Great.”
