Missourians looking to travel to Europe will soon have a new option as British Airways announced it's expanding its operations into St. Louis.
Beginning next April, British Airways will offer nonstop flights between St. Louis Lambert International Airport and London Heathrow Airport, the airline said in a news release . Flights will operate four times a week throughout the summer season.
"British Airways' decision to serve St. Louis is proof that our city belongs on the global stage," St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer said in a news release . "This flight makes St. Louis more accessible to the world while giving our residents another seamless connection to Europe and beyond. It's a win for our economy, for our reputation and for everyone who believes in the promise of St. Louis."
