SHOW LOW, Ariz. — The Timber Mesa Fire and Medial District announced one of its firefighters was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday morning, less than a month after the district lost two firefighters in a separate car crash.

The firefighter died in a crash while heading into work on Oct. 3, the fire district said. His name has not been disclosed.

"Our entire organization is grieving the loss of another one of our own," the fire district wrote in a statement.

The fatality comes not long after two Timber Mesa firefighters, Brenna Kulikowski and Damon Thompson, were killed in a head-on crash while driving back to Show Low on Sept. 14.
