MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison police officers arrested two people early Friday morning as authorities were investigating a disturbance on the city’s east side.
According to the Madison Police Department, officers responded just before 2:15 a.m. to a parking lot in the 2400 block of Independence Lane.
Police say as they were investigating, another person arrived and confronted officers.
MPD said one suspect allegedly shoved an officer, while another officer was allegedly punched and kicked.
A 38-year-old suspect faces charges of resisting causing soft tissue injury, obstructing, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
A 27-year-old suspect faces charges of battery to law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
