According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, breast cancer in men is rare, making up about 1% of cases. Each year in the U.S., roughly 2,800 men are diagnosed. One Saratoga marathon runner is proving the disease doesn’t discriminate—and he won't let the words "I have cancer" stop him.

Richard Loud calls himself a breast cancer “adventurer”, and that mindset keeps him positive. Loud was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in December of 2024.
