CLEVELAND, Ohio – Giant Eagle has recalled Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad because of potential Listeria Monocytogenes contamination.

The announcement is in conjunction with a nationwide recall of ready-to-eat pasta originating from Nate’s Fine Foods.

The product was sold in the prepared-foods departments of Giant Eagle and Market District locations across Ohio as well as western Pennsylvania, Maryland and Indiana.

The recalled products were sold starting Sept. 25:

Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad
