Downtown Lapeer is hosting a Stars Hollow Harvest to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Gilmore Girls" and to honor the heartbeat of small towns, according to the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce.

The "Gilmore Girls" themed night will take over Lapeer on Oct. 17 from 5-9 p.m.

Lapeer businesses, including Axecadia, The Doghouse Coffee and Kookys N Cream, plan to adopt the charm of Stars Hollow for the night, according to the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce.

In case Michigan "Gilmore Girls" fans didn't get enough of Stars Hollow in Brighton last month , Lapeer is hosting a one-night-only downtown transformation into the popular TV show's home.
