YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A new boiler needed to cool, heat and provide hot water to 27 buildings in downtown Youngstown is on its way.
On Tuesday, Wabash Power Equipment took back their boiler from SOBE Thermal Energy Systems due to a lack of payment.
City of Youngstown spokesperson Andy Resnisk said Saturday that a new boiler is headed to Youngstown from Virginia.
"As a result of pressure from the city, we can confirm the new boiler is on its way to Youngstown right now and a crew is going to work on installing it through the weekend," Resnisk said. "It should be up and running by Tuesday at the latest."
Resnisk said he's currently unaware of who will pay for the new boiler.
