A new season of the IHM Chapel Concert Series is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Oct. 12 with a performance titled "Pipes, Strings and a Little Bit of Brass," featuring a mix of classical music and community talent.

The concert will showcase master organist James H. Gladstone, who will perform on the IHM Casavant organ. Gladstone will be joined by the Monroe County Community College College/Community Orchestra, conducted by Ann Felder, and Rivers End Brass, according to a community announcement.

Gladstone, a native of Marshall, has an extensive background in church music, having played in Lutheran and Episcopal parishes since high school. He currently serves as a part-time music minister at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Lorenz in Frankenmuth. During the concert, Gladstone will pe
