Police are seeking information from the public in connection to a ‘concerning incident’ involving a young child in the Hagersville area.

Haldimand OPP said they received a report of a young girl, possibly between the ages of 7 and 9 years, in distress while in a vehicle with two adults on Saturday, Oct. 4 at about 3:20 p.m.

The vehicle is described as a brown or beige Lincoln MKX, Haldimand police said in a social media post.

The vehicle was near Concession 2 Walpole and Haldimand Road 55 before heading north toward Highway 6 on Haldimand Road 55, said police.

The child is further described as white, around five feet tall in height, with shoulder-length blonde hair. Reports indicate she was wearing a white T-shirt and white leggings with a purple and black floral pattern at the time sh
