Chatham-Kent Health Alliance staff members received recognition for their role in a crucial transplant research study recently.
The study, known as CONCLUDE, examined the use of abdominal normothermic regional perfusion — a technique widely used in Europe — which restores blood flow to abdominal organs after death, improving their viability for transplant.
The research, led by London Health Sciences Centre and University Health Network, aims to enhance patient outcomes.
