JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - Two drivers suffered serious injuries after a crash Monday morning near Janesville, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office stated.

Authorities determined a 22-year-old Janesville man was heading westbound on East Highway 11 and drove over the center line, into oncoming traffic.

Rock County Sheriff’s Office said the 22-year-old’s Saturn Ion collided with a Chevrolet Trax, which was heading eastbound.

Rock Co. deputies, Wisconsin State Patrol troopers and Janesville police and fire officials responded just before 6:20 a.m. to South Highway 14 and East Highway 11.

Officials needed to remove the 22-year-old driver from the Saturn Ion. The man suffered serious injuries and officials took him to a hospital.
