A sold-out crowd experienced Taste Brookhaven on Oct. 2 at Brookhaven’s newly completed City Centre, with a dozen participating restaurants offering samples of popular dishes and curated drinks.

The event, “where the city’s vibrant food scene comes together for Taste Brookhaven, a one-night, all-inclusive celebration of flavor, art, music, and community,” offered for the first time a VIP experience that included early admission and a rooftop reception, according to a release from Explore Brookhaven.

More than 20 restaurants and other vendors were on hand to showcase Brookhaven’s food scene, said Explore Brookhaven Marketing Manager Megan Brown. People who purchased either general admission or VIP tickets will have unlimited access to food and drink, including wine, handcrafted cocktails,
