Village favourite Charity Dingle's surrogacy saga continued on Monday night's Emmerdale - and the fallout has left fans scrambling as to what she will do next.

As if Charity offering to carry her granddaughter Sarah Sugden's surrogate baby was not a sage in itself, Charity has gone and complicated the whole surrogacy saga tenfold, by getting knocked up by sleazy Ross Barton.

Tonight's ITV soap helping saw Charity confiding in Chas Dingle, who was far from sympathetic towards her cause. In the end all that was decided was at the very least Charity had to confess the pregnancy to Ross.

Already, fans were left bemused by Charity's actions - not only did she offer to carry her granddaughter's baby, but she is also hitched to Mackenzie Boyd.
