TOWER CITY, N.D. — A 57-year-old Oriska, N.D. woman was seriously injured after the pickup and trailer she was driving went off the road near Tower City on Sunday, Oct. 5.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:25 p.m., when the woman was driving a 2003 Ford F-350 with a gooseneck flatbed trailer north on 132nd Avenue Southeast. She was about 3 miles north of Tower City when she failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the median, and came to rest in a field.
She was taken by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. The woman was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the highway patrol.
Tower City is about 45 miles west of Fargo.
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
