HARTFORD, Conn. — If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Claudia Ainsworth has been living her life for the past 10 years under that famous phrase.

In 2015, she was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. After an aggressive chemo treatment and a stem cell transplant, Ainsworth went into remission for six years. But in 2021, MCL reared its ugly head again.

“I have always had a very good intuition, and I had sensed that something wasn't right, so I was already mentally and emotionally prepared that it would be back,” said Ainsworth.

“I took it in stride; I knew sooner or later it would probably come back,” said Ainsworth.

Since her cancer came back, Claudia takes a daily oral chemo treatment. And if that doesn't work, its try, try again.
