NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville International Airport said that the Federal Aviation Administration advised them of reduced flights arriving and departing "due to a shortage of air traffic controllers."

In a social media post, BNA officials said the FAA notified the airport at 1:25 p.m. adding that flights will be reduced starting at 2:30 p.m. "due to a shortage of air traffic controllers."

All airlines have been informed, the post added, and travelers were advised to check on the status of their flight before arriving at BNA.
