NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — This weekend, West Nashville will offer some free fun for the whole family at the annual Farm Day.

Taking place at Bells Bend Park, Farm Day allows children and families the chance to connect with a key piece of Tennessee's history and economy: agriculture.

According to Metro Parks and Recreation, the day will see plenty of agri-themed fun including farm animals, hayrides, tractors and machinery, demonstrations, workshops, live music and local vendors.

The event begins Saturday, Oct. 11, at 9:30 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. at Bells Bend Park.

The program is presented by the Friends of Bells Bend Park, who said other things to look forward to include things from past years, like corn shelling.
