BATH, N.H. (WCAX) - A 73-year-old man has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting deaths of two women in Bath, New Hampshire, on Tuesday.

Authorities say Bath Police responded to 11 Tyler Way around 1:15 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about shots being fired. Officers discovered the bodies of two women in the home -- Cindy Moody, 67, and her daughter Kristal Moody, 39.

Charles “Chuck” Readey, who is Cindy Moody’s brother-in-law, was found at the home with a gun. After a brief period, officers safely detained him without incident.

Ready faces two counts of second-degree murder.
