PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Mad Hatter-themed lunch will support single-parent families battling cancer in Phoenix later this month — and that’s Something Good.

The Singletons, a Phoenix nonprofit dedicated to helping single-parent families battling cancer, is holding a “Mad Hatter Tea Party” for a good cause at The Singletons HUB on Oct. 25.

The event will include a three-course culinary experience with Mad Hatter-themed appetizers, mimosas, mocktails, and desserts by Chef Shane Jackson.

“Our whole goal is to keep their day-to-day needs just as relieved of stress as possible,” said Jody Boyd, CEO and founder of The Singletons.

While budget relief is important and a goal for the organization, Boyd believes community is also very important.
