ST. LOUIS - A man accused of shooting "blow darts" at two people in St. Louis this week is now behind bars on felony charges.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office has charged Dillon Lambert, 22, of St. Ann, Missouri, with two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with two blow dart incidents.
A "blow dart" is a small, pointed, metal projectiles typically launched from a blowgun or a blowpipe by a person's breath.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reports that Lambert was linked to two blow dart incidents within 24 hours.
On Wednesday, a woman reported leaving a restaurant in the 5200 block of Hampton Avenue around 8 p.m. when a blow dart struck a box of leftovers she was carrying. Police say she was not injured.
