BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library has been recognized for its service by receiving the Future-Focused award, one of four libraries across the state to receive this recognition.
The 2024 Future-Focused award was presented to the BVMPL at the 2025 NDLA/SDLA/MPLA Tri-Conference in Grand Forks. Library spokespeople say this isn't their first time receiving this type of award.
This award goes to libraries that meet various criteria in areas such as community outreach, local support, policy development, professional standards, and more. Out of the 84 public libraries across the state, only four received this recognition.
“This recognition highlights our library’s dedication to providing exceptional service and fostering lifelong learning for all,” Library Di
