MINOT, ND (KXNET) — For two days only, more than 2,000 pumpkins are on display at the Woodland Trail as Minot Parks kicks off its sixth annual Pumpkin Walk. The event is free, and guests from all over the area are invited to take a stroll along the pumpkin-lit path and bask in the Halloween spirit.

Minot Parks leaders say this event has become a community staple in recent years, and that all of this wouldn't be possible without neighbors stepping up with contributions of their own.

"I think what makes this event super special is the amount of local organizations, businesses and families that participated," Program and Event Specialist Bailey Gaspar said. "We had over 150 different organizations, families that donated pumpkins. That just shows what a great community Minot is, coming toget
