BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A new initiative meant to create inclusive play spaces for children across the capital city has just been approved by Bismarck Public Schools (BPS).
The district approved Project: Play and SpeAACk, which looks to install Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) stations at every preschool and elementary school playground across Bismarck.
The program intends to give children the opportunity to express themselves, connect with peers, and participate in activities regardless of their communication abilities.
