GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - 51-year-old Terrence Jackson of Alachua was arrested Friday after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of cocaine.

Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a Toyota Camry at 407 Northeast 23rd Avenue in Gainesville for obstruction of view.

The deputy says they noticed suspicious and nervous behavior from the driver and passengers after approaching the car.

The driver did not consent to a vehicle search, but another deputy and a K9 arrived on scene to conduct an open-air sniff of the vehicle.

The K9 signaled to the deputies the scent of illegal narcotics in the vehicle and a search of the vehicle followed.
