GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The City of Gainesville started the fall season with its first Great Pumpkin Bash at Bo Diddley Plaza.
The event was meant to bring the community together to celebrate the cool season. Many were able to enjoy the many vendors, which offered food, crafts, plants, and clothing. The event had many activities, including carnival games, many of which were free for all to enjoy.
Carol Velasques Richardson from the Cultural Events Department said, “We hope that it will be an annual event. But as I look around today, it looks like it might have already outgrown Bo Diddley Plaza. We are going to keep an eye on that, but we will definitely keep this mission for our community.”
