WESTLAKE, Ohio –

Deer-car crash: Center Ridge Road (deer photo from PD)

Officers responded on Sept. 27 to a report of a car crash on Center Ridge Road involving a deer.

The caller said that the animal jumped into the back window of her car, and her kids in the backseat were covered with glass. No one was injured.

Officers took a report for the property damage, while Westlake Fire Department paramedics checked out the kids, who were shaken up. The deer fled the scene.
