ST. PAUL — Sophomore running back Griffin Babolian rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns to help spark the Concordia Cobbers to a 58-12 victory against Hamline on Saturday in MIAC football.
The Cobbers (4-1, 3-1 MIAC) have won three consecutive games. Concordia rushed for 411 yards and seven touchdowns on 44 attempts against the Pipers.
Concordia's quarterbacks also had solid outings. Nick Walter rushed for 75 yards and two TDs and Jersey Selzler completed 7 of 17 passes for 117 yards and one touchdown. Walter also completed 5 of 8 passes for 38 yards.
Cobbers receiver Davion Henderson added three catches for 63 yards and a touchdown. Concordia led 23-0 at halftime and scored the game's first 51 points.
