FARGO — North Dakota State senior receiver Bryce Lance had a big first half Saturday at the Fargodome.

Lance rushed for a 75-yard touchdown and also caught three passes for 64 yards and a TD. That effort gave the No. 1-ranked Bison to a 17-10 halftime lead against No. 8 Southern Illinois in Missouri Valley Football Conference play.

The Bison took that 7-point lead into the second half in a top-10 NCAA Division I FCS showdown.
