HOBOKEN, N.J. (PIX11) – Batten down the hatches!
The nasty nor’easter is expected to wallop the tri-state area starting Sunday, and perhaps the hardest hit will be the state of New Jersey.
All 21 New Jersey counties are now under a state of emergency as of 10 p.m. Saturday night.
Of particular concern is the Jersey shore, where the National Weather Service issued high wind and coastal flood warnings.
In Asbury Park, the water looked relatively calm on a Saturday afternoon, but this nasty nor’easter is expected to hit Jersey with winds gusting up to 60 miles per hour and heavy rainfall from Sunday through Monday.
Many New Jersey residents are concerned.
