MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Police Department said Friday that they have identified the person they believe to be responsible for a deadly shooting in Binghampton Thursday afternoon.
Around 5:40 Thursday afternoon, Memphis Police said, officers were sent to a shooting call in the 700 block of Lester Street. Once there, police said, officers found a man who'd been shot multiple times, who died at the scene.
Memphis Police said that, through their investigation, they believe a man named Algenon Lloyd to be responsible for the shooting, and a warrant for first-degree murder has been issued.
MPD said Lloyd is considered armed and dangerous, and warned people not to approach him.
