Hampus Lindholm didn’t participate in practice with the Bruins on Sunday, but the injured defenseman did skate before the team.

He remains officially day-to-day according to coach Marco Sturm , who didn’t have more information.

“I still have to follow up,” he said.

The Bruins host the Lightning in a holiday Monday matinee.

Jordan Harris, the Haverill and Northeastern product whom the Bruins signed during the offseason, made his debut against the Sabres in Lindholm’s spot. Harris had an assist on the Bruins’ first goal in the 3-1 victory at TD Garden. He’ll likely remain in the lineup for as long as Lindholm is out.

It wasn’t clear what caused the injury. Lindholm played six shifts and was last on the ice with just over 8 minutes left in the first period against the Blackhawks.
