SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Two individuals were found deceased in a Springfield residence following a report made on Sunday, Oct. 12.

According to a Greene County Sheriff's Office press release, law enforcement responded to a well-being check around 2:17 p.m. at the 2900 block of North Springlawn Avenue in Springfield on Sunday.

Officials found two individuals deceased in the home, the release says.

The sheriff's office says that deputies are currently on scene and that the investigation is ongoing. They report that there is no threat to the public.

“Detectives are working to gather the facts, and we will share more information as soon as we can," Sheriff Arnott said in the release.
