MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — We haven't even hit Halloween yet, but WVU announced Monday that it would be bringing a festive tradition back to its campus this December.

During his "State of the University" address on Monday, WVU President Michael T. Benson announced that, through a partnership with Huntington Bank, lights will once again adorn WVU's iconic Woodburn Hall during the holiday season, according to a release. This will be the first time the lights have appeared since 2011.

“Woodburn will shine once again, bringing generations of Mountaineers together in the warm glow of tradition,” Benson said.

The return of the tradition is set to be commemorated with a public lighting ceremony on Dec. 2.
