OMAHA, Neb. —
One could argue that there is no one more qualified to talk about Halloween than Jeremy Lubash.
"Not everybody gets to be around Halloween stuff 365 days a year, and I was born a week before Halloween. It was kind of meant for me to be involved in this," Lubash said.
For 20 years, Lubash has put together costumes in Mangelsen's prop room, but he says there's been a lull in the celebration.
"I know after COVID happened, a lot of people were afraid to go out and celebrate Halloween," Lubash said.
He said now the store is the busiest it's been in almost five years, but with the crowd come obscure costumes.
"It's usually not even movies anymore that are what people ask for," he explained. "It's usually some video game that's popular and it's some character I've never heard
