BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Families and furry friends took to the trails Monday evening for the Bridgeport StoryWalk’s annual Walk and Read event at Bridgeport City Park.
The community event invited participants of all ages to stroll the park’s scenic trail while enjoying story displays, fall-themed crafts, and treats for both humans and pets. Organizers said the event was designed to combine physical activity with literacy and creativity.
The book that is featured on the trail is Herbie the Harry Monster, which deals with bullying awareness.
