HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - A dump truck overturned and took down power lines in Mecklenburg County on Wednesday morning, according to officials .

The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, along Old Statesville Road near Hucks Road in Huntersville.

Fire officials stated that the wreck brought down power lines and caused significant traffic delays in the area. No injuries were reported.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash.
