New Delhi: Disagreements have surfaced within the All India Football Federation’s executive committee over terms and conditions of the Indian Super League’s tender , derailing plans to float the bidding document even on the Supreme Court-mandated deadline day to complete the entire process.
The apex court had directed the AIFF to complete the bidding process by October 15, to ensure that clubs get a minimum 45-day training time before the tournament’s tentative kick-off in the first week of December.
But plans to float the tender by Wednesday morning didn’t materialise as executive committee members couldn’t arrive at a decision at a virtual meeting held on Tuesday afternoon.
As per the draft tender document prepared by top consultancy firm KPMG, which was appointed for that purpose
