CORDOVA, Tenn. - A man was charged with murder for his alleged involvement in a shooting that killed an 18-year-old in Cordova, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) said.

18-year-old Antwain Carrick was charged with first-degree murder and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. The shooting killed 18-year-old Antonio Sykes.

Another man, 18-year-old Trenton Harris, was captured in August by the U.S. Marshals in Atlanta and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting.

According to SCSO, on August 22, Sykes was found shot to death inside a car
