FARGO — Peace Academy is now open in Fargo and will host an open house and ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at 4321 20th Ave. S.

There is a critical need for more, affordable child care in Fargo-Moorhead, and politicians, parents and providers all have an opinion on the problem.

Peace Academy aims to change how day care and preschool children are educated and prepared for school, before some can even walk.

Peace Academy is an 18,000 square-foot learning center located in the new DMF headquarters (old WEX) building near 42nd street south in Fargo.
