IRON COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Fresh snow is blanketing the mountains in Iron County this week. And for many in Brian Head, which received five inches over the last couple of days, the first dusting signals the start of something special.
Even though the lifts aren't expected to start running at Brian Head Resort until November 7, the early snow and taste of winter is generating plenty of excitement.
"We're really excited," said Amber Palmer with Brian Head Resort. "We got some natural snow to kind of hype everybody up and just increase the stoke a little bit."
That 'stoke' is something everyone in the small mountain town can feel, from those tuning up the lifts to shop owners getting their winter inventory out.
