K-9 helps Terre Haute police find, arrest 3 teens who allegedly broke into theater

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Police in Terre Haute say they arrested three teenagers Thursday evening after they allegedly broke into a theater.

According to a release from the Terre Haute Police Department , just after 8 p.m. on Oct. 16, officers were called to the Indiana Theatre, located at 683 Ohio Street , after a report that masked individuals were seen on security cameras inside the building.

Officers arrived on scene and established a perimeter while also conducting a search with K-9 officer Simba.

During the search, Simba found two people who immediately surrendered. Later, a third suspect was found in a "elevated area of the theater." Police say that person also surrendered once they were found by Simba.
